Leeds United versus Aston Villa is the first Premier League game scheduled for Tuesday 28 December to be postponed.
Currently games at Arsenal, Crystal Palace, Leicester City, Southampton and Watford are all set to go ahead as scheduled.
The game planned for Elland Road has fallen victim of Covid-19. In total, 14 games in England’s top flight have been postponed in December.
A Premier League statement read:
“The board accepted the postponement application as the club does not have the required number of players available for the match.”
