Manchester United Open Official Talks To Sign Real Madrid Target

José Mourinho’s Manchester United squad is beginning to look like a team capable of competing at the top level in the Premier league for the next 5-8 years. A team that consists of Rashford, Bailly, Lingaard, Lukaku, Martial, Lindeloef, and De Gea; and with an average age of not more than 25, is certainly one for the future.

Mourinho is obviously building a team that is capable of competing now and way into the future. While the likes of Zlatan may not be around for too long, there are the likes of Rashford, Lingaard et al ready to replace them. And it appears Mourinho is not yet tired of signing very talented young players as, according to the agent of Benfica winger, Úmaro Embaló, the player is currently in talks with Manchester United about a move to Old Trafford.

The young winger was recently linked with a move to Real Madrid but could see a stop at Manchester United as ideal for him, rather than going to the Bernabéu where he will most certainly be a bench warmer – he need only ask James Rodríguez. Another reason why Úmaro Embaló could be keen for a move to Manchester United is because under Mourinho, he will be managed by a fellow Portuguese, which could go a long way to helping him settle down in the English game.

And should United succeed in signing Úmaro Embaló from Benfica, it could well be the end of their pursuit of Chelsea star Willian. The Brazilian was linked with a move to the Red Devils last summer – a rumour that has resurfaced in recent weeks.

Unless someone is leaving – like Martial and/or Mata, Manchester United won’t be needing both Embaló and Willian. It most certainly will be one or the other. However, Mourinho could be signing Úmaro Embaló with a view to letting him climb his way into the first team from the youth/reserve teams.
