According to a report by Duncan Castles, the new Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is set to let go of four Manchester United stars, as his revolution continues follwing the Louis Van Gaal era.
According to Castles, Jose Mourinho sees Swede star Zlatan Ibrahimovic playing up front next season ahead of a number of youngsters in the squad, with captain Wayne Rooney behind him in the supporting role and new recruits Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Anthony Martial on both flanks.
Jose is reportedly set to axe Bastian Schweinsteiger, Daley Blind, Marcos Rojo and Juan Mata, with the Portuguese tactician anxious that the Old Trafford club speed up its efforts to find buyers for the four outcasts.
Germany international midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger and Marcos Rojo struggled to establish themselves at the club under former boss Louis van Gaal, and although the former Chelsea attacker Juan Mata is very popular at Old Trafford, it is well documented that Mourinho is not a fan of the work ethic of the ex-Valencia player, having sold him while both were at Chelsea.
Meanwhile, Blind’s likely departure is a surprise, considering how well he has performed since joining the Premier League club from Ajax. He and Chris Smalling were rock solid in the defence last season.
The shocker
In what would come as a big surprise to Manchester United supporters, the boss feels Belgium international midfielder Marouane Fellaini has a future at the club.
It’s been reported by Castles that the boss intends to keep Marouane Fellaini, who can operate in many positions, offering physicality, height and plenty of Premier League experience.
