DONE! Euro 2016 Star Signs 5-Years With Chelsea, Will Earn £120,000-A-Week

Just before the European Championship finished in France, Chelsea beat West Ham to the signing of Belgian star Michy Batshuayi from French Ligue 1 club Olympique Marseille. The Belgian was thought to be on his way to West Ham after the Hammers got a bid accepted but Chelsea hijacked the deal in the last minute.

And last weekend Chelsea announced they have completed the signing of N’Golo Kante from Leicecter City. The 25-year-old Senegalese defensive midfielder had a sensational season at the King Power Stadium last season under the tutelage of Italian manager Claudio Ranieri. His brilliant performance deservedly earned him a place in the PFA Team of the Year.

Football fans the world over, not just Chelsea fans, will be waiting to see how well Kante will cope and perform under another Italian boss Antonio Conte at his new club Chelsea. The versatile Frenchman was part of the France national team that lost the recently concluded European championship final to eventual champions Portugal.

His addition to the current Chelsea team will offer manager Antonio Conte different options in the defensive midfield and box to box role. With the Blues playing in three competitions ( as they are not in Europe next season ), it will be interesting to see who Conte will prefer as his first choice between Kante and Matic.

A break down of the Kante deal..

According to Daily Mirror, the Blues have agreed a deal of about £61 million which includes £30 million fee to be paid to Leicester City and a five-year contract worth £31 million to sign the French star over the course of five years.

A further break down of the deal by mirror shows he will earn £120,00 a week which is considerably cheap considering the ridiculous among other players are earning.
