Chelsea have finally reached an agreement for the signing of Leicester City’s N’Golo Kante according to a report by the very reliable Mohamed Bouhafsi who is the chief editor for French media outlets RMC Sport. Mohamed Bouhafsi who just moments ago took to his twitter page to announce the deal is completed reckons that Kante rejected offers from two Premier League clubs and one European club having been swayed by the project at Stamford bridge.
Kante will reportedly undergo a medical at Chelsea within the next 48 hours according to the Frenchman. He also revealed Chelsea have agreed to pay Leicester City a total of €36m.

This news if true, which is likely to be considering Bouhafsi is usually spot on with his stories, it will be a massive boost for Antonio Conte’s Chelsea. The signing of Kante, if it happens, will offer Chelsea different options for rotation. He can play in the place of Matic or alongside the Serbian while Fabregas moves up the field.
And with John Obi Mikel looking like he is off, Chelsea have done well to bring in someone who is better than the Nigerian. Chelsea now do not have to rely sole on Matic. The Blues struggled many times last season mainly because Matic was not at his best and this has been the case for sometime now. Whenever the former Benfica star is missing in action, Chelsea always look vulnerable but with Kante, that will be a thing of the past.
Asiding bolstering their on squad by signing Kante, preventing both Arsenal and Manchester United who were linked with his signing ensures Chelsea do not lose out on a talent that could have improved their rivals thereby making it more difficult for Chelsea to make a come back into the top four.
