Tottenham On The Verge Of Signing Very Creative La Liga Wing Forward

In Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino’s bid to reinforce his current squad against next season, he secured the services of AZ Alkmaar and Netherland international striker Vincent Janssen. The Spurs is not resting yet, and he is still in the market for another attacker this summer transfer market.

Pochettino is believed to be willing to sign a fast winger that can score goals, and Barcelona forward, Cristian Tello seem to be the kind of player with such quality, and according to reports, Tottenham’s Argentine manager has his eyes on the former Barca star.

British tabloid Daily Mirror is reporting that Pochettino is set to secure the signature of the Spaniard that currently ply’s his trade at La Liga champions Barcelona. The Spain international attacker spent the first half of last season at Portuguese side FC Porto and later joined Serie A side Fiorentina for the concluding part of last season.

Last term, the 24-year-old Barcelona attacker found the back of the net 4 times and assisted 6 times in 35 appearances overall. He had his most prolific spell at Fiorentina last season where he started 13 league games and contributed directly to 7 goals, including 2 goals and 5 assists.

Tello is not yet a world class attacker, but has the potential of becoming one, with his incredible pace and trickery moves on the ball. Although his development hasn’t been as fast as many had expected, under manager Mauricio Pochettino he could rediscover himself like Lamela has done.

His signing will give Pochettino the chance to properly rotate his squad as Spurs take on the big European clubs in the Champions League.
