According to report, speculations over the future of Marcus Edwards, who plays for Tottenham academy has ended after the youngster signed a new contract with the White Hart lane club.
The Tottenham wonder kid has had his future in doubt after the youngster earlier rejected couple of offers Spurs last season. According to a report by the Guardian last April, a host of clubs were interested in signing him after news emerged that he had rejected Tottenham’s terms of a professional contract.
All that has now been put to rest as he has now agreed to the deal. This news was officially confirmed by Spurs’ academy Social media account on twitter on Tuesday. The club in a tweet was revealed that the youngster has now committed his future to the club after First team guarantee next season.

Edwards, 17, recently concluded his first year as a scholar at Tottenham’s academy and he is touted as a future England prospect.
The attacking midfielder reportedly rejected a professional contract offered him at the end of last season, which led to speculation surrounding his future.
Tottenham fans, especially those who watch the youth teams play, will certainly be happy with this development. The young lad is certainly one for the future and it could have been sad to see him leave the club.
