After much of the fanfare surrounding Bastian Schweinsteiger’s transfer to Manchester United, it was time to finally see him put on the red jersey and make his debut vs Club America.
And we were left impressed.
Although only a friendly, we saw all the traits that made him one of the best central midfielders in the world: quality of passing, tenacity and composure.
If it makes any difference, United won 1-0.
