According to reports, David Moyes’ Real Sociedad have made a £6 million offer for Arsenal’s Joel Campbell.
The 22-year-old is currently on loan at Villarreal after struggling to find game time with the Gunners as Moyes looks for an alternative to Burnley’s Danny Ings.
Campbell has only made 10 appearances for the Gunners since signing for the club in 2011, having gone on a number of loans to clubs including Lorient, Real Betis and Olympiakos.
As for Moyes, he’ll be looking for a fresh attacking option to add to the club as La Real have struggled for goals this past season with the Costa Rican forward seen as an option to help them in that particular department.
