After punching Manchester United’s Phil Jones, Hull City’s Abel Hernandez will miss the first three games of the championship next year.
Hernandez punched Jones in the 70th minute of the game on the final day of the season.
The incident was not seen by officials during the game, but was noticed on video.
Hernandez came to Hull City from Italian club Palermo for a club-record £10 million, and scored four goals in 24 Premier League appearances for them.
However, after being relegated back to the Championship, there has been speculation that Hernandez could already be on the move again.
