Arsenal and Manchester City after Pedro

Barcelona winger Pedro Rodriguez has been linked with a move away from the Nou Camp with Premier League clubs Arsenal and Manchester City linked with the 27-year-old.

With Luiz Suarez, Neymar and Lionel Messi ahead of him in the pecking order, the Spanish international has seen his playing time dwindle this season.

The World Cup winner however, has no shortage of suitors with Manchester City and Arsenal both joining the race for his signature alongside long time admirers Liverpool and Inter Milan.

With Theo Walcott linked with a move away from the Emirates and Czech midfielder Tomas Rosicky nearing the end of his Arsenal career, Arsene Wenger will be looking to freshen up things in attack for the Gunners.

His counterpart at the Etihad, Manuel Pellegrini is looking to put behind a disappointing season and views the Barca winger as an ideal replacement for the outgoing Stevan Jovetic and wantaway midfielder James Milner.

Pedro has made 34 appearances for Barcelona this season chipping in with 6 goals and has generally shown himself to be a useful option for Luis Enrique.

The Catalans secured the La Liga on Sunday with a 1-0 win over holders Atletico Madrid with Pedro starting the game as the central striker in place of Luis Suarez, who was out with a hamstring injury.
