David De Gea reportedly agrees Real Madrid contract

According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Manchester United’s David de Gea has agreed a five year contract with Real Madrid.

The Spaniard has been admired by and linked with Los Blancos for a while now and it looks like they finally got their man with just two games left in the Premier League season.

De Gea has been one of United’s stand out stars this season and is a key reason why Louis van Gaal’s side are all but assured of Champions League football next season.

A fee between the two clubs just needs to be agreed with United wanting £40 million, while Real prefer a fee of £30 million.

While this news should be taken with a pinch of salt, what’s telling is the fact that Van Gaal admitted on Friday that he had drawn up a list of possible replacements for the De Gea.
