Arsene Wenger has stated that Arsenal’s summer signing, Danny Welbeck is still not back in training.
The former Manchester United player last played for the Gunners in their 0-0 draw with Chelsea and missed his side’s 3-1 win over Hull City with a knee injury.
“Welbeck is doing better, but he is still not in training, he has missed now more than a week. There is no major damage, but we have to see how it progresses over the next two or three days.” – Arsene Wenger.
One player who did play at Hull and was suspected to be injured was Aaron Ramsey. However, there is good news for Wenger as one of his star midfielders is expected to be fit ahead of Swansea City’s visit to the Emirates.
“From the Hull match we had Ramsey who took a big kick, he is getting slowly better. He could be back in training soon.”
The Gunners could cement their claim for second place with a win over Gary Monk’s in form Swans.
