In what has been a mixed season for Arsenal so far, one of the positives has undoubtedly been the signing of Alexis Sanchez.
Bought from Barcelona for a hefty fee of £35 million, the Chilean has adapted to life in England seamlessly, scoring 14 goals and making 6 assists in 24 games.
However, with the Gunners languishing in 6th place, already 15 points behind league leaders, Chelsea, there are concerns as to how long Sanchez will stay at the club if it doesn’t continue to challenge for trophies.
Arsenal legend, Ian Wright is one who believes the former Barcelona could leave the Emirates Stadium if improvements aren’t made but another former Gunner in Perry Groves believes he’ll stay for a while.
“He has bought into the club and the club ethos. He looks happy. He is playing well and scoring goals. His attitude is fantastic. Alexis Sanchez will be here for a couple of seasons yet.”
